The Student Representative Council (SRC) serves as the official body representing the interests and welfare of students within the school. The council works closely with school management to promote discipline, organize student-centered activities, and create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Through leadership, collaboration, and service, the SRC ensures that the concerns and ideas of students are heard while contributing positively to the development of the school community.
I am Dominic Tettey Djangmah, the SRC Patron of Yilo Krobo Senior High School, Somanya. I serve as a Geography teacher and am also a proud old student of this great institution.
As the SRC Patron, I work closely with the Student Representative Council to guide and mentor student leaders, helping them develop responsibility, discipline, and effective leadership skills. My role involves supporting the SRC in organizing activities, addressing student concerns, and ensuring that the council operates in a way that promotes unity, respect, and positive engagement within the school community.
Being both a teacher and an alumnus of Yilo Krobo SHS gives me a deep sense of commitment to the growth and development of the school, and I am passionate about empowering students to become confident leaders and responsible citizens.
